01

Choose a role-sized goal

Select a direction specific enough to guide what you practise. Frontend development, data analysis and backend development overlap, but each calls for a different balance of fundamentals and projects.

02

Plan for the time you actually have

A modest commitment you can maintain is more useful than an optimistic plan you abandon. Include time for revision, debugging and explaining your work, not only consuming lessons.

03

Build evidence of understanding

Use a small project to connect ideas. Explain what you built, why you chose that approach, which alternatives you considered and where the solution is limited.

04

Practise recalling and explaining

Return to a topic without your notes. Try a short question or explain a concept aloud. Difficulty recalling an idea is feedback about what to revisit, not a verdict on your potential.

05

Review the roadmap regularly

Adjust the plan when your understanding or circumstances change. A roadmap is a working hypothesis about your next useful steps, not a promise of a job or a fixed deadline for mastery.
